Job Description

Stratton Creek Inn & Event Barn is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Assistant Innkeeper / Administrative Supportteam member to help with the daily operations of our inn and event property.

This is a part-time hybrid position that includes both hands-on cleaning and turnover work as well as administrative support. Duties include cleaning guest rooms and event spaces, preparing the property for incoming inn and wedding guests, assisting with wedding-related turnovers and cleanings, and helping with scheduling, organization, and office support tasks.

This is an excellent fit for someone who is organized, reliable, comfortable with physical work, and able to shift between hospitality operations and administrative responsibilities as needed.

This is not a desk-only position. Applicants must be comfortable with cleaning, turnovers, weekend work, and supporting hospitality operations in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Clean and reset inn guest rooms between stays
  • Prepare rooms and guest spaces for incoming inn and wedding guests
  • Clean and maintain bathrooms, bedrooms, common areas, and event-related spaces
  • Assist with wedding and event cleaning, turnover, and reset needs
  • Remove trash, restock supplies, and help keep the property clean and guest-ready
  • Report maintenance concerns, damages, or missing items promptly
  • Assist with scheduling and general office support
  • Help with administrative organization and operational tasks as assigned
  • Support the day-to-day flow of inn and event operations
  • Complete all tasks assigned by Innkeeper or Managing Director

Qualifications

  • Reliable and punctual
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work independently and stay on task
  • Comfortable with both physical cleaning work and light administrative support
  • Positive attitude and professional demeanor
  • Must be available to work weekends, as most events and turnovers take place on weekends
  • Hospitality, housekeeping, cleaning, office, or administrative experience preferred

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move throughout the property
  • Ability to clean guest rooms and event spaces thoroughly and efficiently
  • Comfortable working on your feet and completing physical tasks during turnovers and event cleanings

Schedule

  • Part-time
  • Weekend availability is required
  • Additional weekday hours may be available based on guest stays, event schedule, and business needs
