Assistant Internal Auditor - Construction Industry

Job summary

The Internal Auditor for Construction is responsible for conducting comprehensive audits of construction projects, financial processes, and operational controls to ensure compliance, mitigate risks, and enhance efficiency. The role involves providing independent and objective assurance on the effectiveness of the company's internal controls, risk management, and governance processes within the construction sector.

Key responsibilities

1. Audit planning and execution

  • Develop and execute an annual internal audit plan based on risk assessments, specifically tailored to the unique risks of the construction industry.

2. Risk management and compliance

  • Identify and evaluate risks associated with construction operations, such as budget overruns, project delays, safety incidents, and regulatory non-compliance.

3. Reporting and communication

  • Prepare clear, concise, and timely audit reports that highlight findings, risks, and actionable recommendations for corrective action.

4. Follow-up and investigation

  • Conduct follow-up reviews to monitor the implementation of audit recommendations and verify that corrective actions have been effectively implemented.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED7,000.00 per month
