Role Description
The Assistant Key Account Manager supports the Key Account Manager in managing strategic clients, maintaining strong customer relationships, ensuring service excellence, and contributing to revenue growth. This role involves coordinating between internal teams and clients, preparing sales reports, assisting in negotiations, and helping execute account strategies.
Skills:
· Support day-to-day communication with key accounts.
· Participate in client meetings, presentations, and reviews.
· Assist in the development and execution of account plans and strategies.
· Support the Key Account Manager in identifying growth opportunities within existing accounts.
· Analyze sales trends, market data, and customer behaviour.
· Track sales performance metrics and contribute to achieving revenue targets.
Qualifications & Experience:
· Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
· 1–5 years of experience in Key Account Function, Sales, or Business Development.
· Experience in managing large accounts across multiple regions (experience in Beverages FMCG preferred).
· Good understanding of sales processes and customer management
· Demonstrated ability to manage key accounts and consistently achieve revenue targets.
· Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
· Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
