Responsibilities

• Support senior designers by preparing detailed kitchen layout designs using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) software and SketchUp.
• Assist in selecting materials, fixtures, lighting, and appliances that match client preferences and project specifications.
• Engage with customers both inside the showroom and through outside sales efforts to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Conduct product demos and explain features of various kitchen products, including lighting solutions and remodeling options.
• Collaborate with clients on renovation and remodeling projects, ensuring design consistency and quality standards are met throughout construction.
• Assist with merchandising efforts by organizing showroom displays and maintaining product stock levels.
• Handle basic customer service duties such as POS transactions, cash handling, and answering client inquiries with clear communication skills.
• Support account management activities by upselling high-end products and services to maximize sales opportunities.
• Participate in marketing initiatives to promote new designs, lighting sales, and remodeling services.
• Maintain organizational skills by managing project documentation, scheduling appointments, and coordinating with vendors for timely delivery.

Skills

• Proven experience in outside sales or inside sales within the retail or home improvement sectors.
• Proficiency in SketchUp, CAD, and lighting design software to create accurate layout plans.
• Strong negotiation skills to upsell products effectively while maintaining customer satisfaction.
• Knowledge of renovation, remodeling, construction processes, and interior design principles.
• Multilingual abilities are a plus for engaging diverse clientele.
• Excellent communication skills for customer service, product demos, and team collaboration.
• Familiarity with retail math, merchandising strategies, POS systems, and cash handling procedures.
• Ability to organize multiple projects efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in lighting sales and general product presentation.

Pay: $52,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
