Assistant Laser Machine Operator

Job Summary:
The Assistant Laser Machine Operator will support the operation of laser cutting machines used in the manufacturing of generator parts, panels, and components. This role involves assisting the machine operator, handling raw materials, monitoring machine functions, and ensuring quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Laser Machine Operator in setting up and operating laser cutting machines.
• Load and unload raw materials (sheets, plates, and other materials) onto the machine.
• Support in checking machine parameters, alignment, and settings as instructed.
• Perform basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning machine parts, removing waste, and replacing consumables.
• Inspect cut parts for accuracy, measurements, and finishing.
• Organize and label finished parts for further production processes.
• Follow safety protocols while handling machines and sharp/metallic materials.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the work area.
• Assist in recording production data and reporting machine issues to the supervisor.
• Perform other related tasks as directed by the Laser Machine Operator or Production Supervisor.

Qualifications & Skills:

• High school education or technical diploma preferred.
• Previous experience in manufacturing or metal fabrication is an advantage (not mandatory for entry-level).
• Basic knowledge of laser cutting machines, CNC, or fabrication processes is a plus.
• Physically fit to handle materials and stand for long periods.
• Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn machine operations.
• Ability to follow safety rules and work as part of a team.

Work Environment:

• Factory/workshop environment with exposure to machinery, metal parts, and noise.
• Required to wear protective equipment (gloves, goggles, safety shoes, etc.).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From AED1,200.00 per month
