Job Purpose
The Assistant Manager supports the operation of a DriveSafe location under the direction of the Center Manager overseeing multiple locations. The ideal candidate has some leadership experience or aptitude, is motivated to learn how to manage a location, and is eager to contribute to both the day-to-day success of the center and its long-term growth. The Assistant Manager will actively service customers while also gaining hands-on management experience.
Duties and Responsibilities

Provide excellent customer service by assisting students and families in person and over the phone, addressing questions, resolving concerns, and handling escalations when needed.

Prepare, update, and maintain student and state-required paperwork, ensuring accuracy and compliance.

Enter and maintain data in the company database in a timely and accurate manner.

Supervise daily operations of the center under the supervision of a Center Manager
- Assist in scheduling instructors, students, and vehicles to ensure efficient operations and customer satisfaction.

Assist the Center Manager with monitoring key performance indicators (KPIs) and implementing performance improvements.

Support compliance efforts by assisting with audits, documentation, and staff training.

Assist with payroll review, scheduling adjustments, and employee relations under the direction of the Center Manager.

Contribute to systems and procedures that improve efficiency, organization, and customer experience.

Maintain professionalism and neatness of the center.

Perform other duties as assigned to support the success of the center
Qualifications

Over 21 years of age
-
Bachelor’s degree preferred.
-
1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience preferred
-
1+ years of experience with Colorado drivers’ education preferred
-
Customer service orientation with both internal and external stakeholders
-
Orientation to innovative problem-solving

Comfortable with direct sales of services when necessary

Responsible, dependable, and detail oriented

Self-disciplined and able to multi-task/prioritize

Comfortable with digital technologies

Safe driving history - a Motor Vehicle Record check will be reviewed

Valid Colorado Driver’s License

Job Details
This is a full-time, 40 hours per week position scheduled Sunday-Thursday from 8:30am-5pm based out of our Castle Rock DriveSafe Center (1345 New Beale Street, Suite 130C, Castle Rock, CO 80108). Flexibility to occasionally support the Highlands Ranch DriveSafe Center (537 W. Highlands Ranch Parkway #103 Highlands Ranch CO 80129) if needed is required. This position has room for growth and advancement.

We accept initial applicants through quick-apply, requiring only basic contact information and a current resume. If you are selected to move forward based on these qualifications, you will be asked to meet with a member of our HR team via Microsoft Teams video call for an initial 30-minute interview.

Candidates that are selected to move forward are asked to submit a full job application including authorization for background check.

Second round interviews will then be conducted with applicants and a Hiring Manager and/or Senior Management at the DriveSafe location or virtually by request.

As a pre-employment step, candidates are asked to provide a copy of their 7-Year Motor Vehicle Record to demonstrate safe driving history.
