The Assistant Manager – Operations Support role exists to act as the General Manager’s extended arm by overseeing the coordination, control, and follow-up of operational and strategic activities across the division. The role is accountable for consolidating accurate management reporting, monitoring performance against approved budgets and KPIs, and enforcing execution discipline through structured follow-ups with line managers and corporate support teams.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and consolidate reports from line managers across all business sectors to ensure 100% on-time submission of weekly and monthly GM reports.
  • Monitor divisional performance against approved budgets and KPIs, validating data accuracy, highlighting variances, and providing clear performance insights to support management decision-making.
  • Support the GM in executive reporting and presentations by preparing structured business updates, dashboards, and briefing materials for ExCo and senior management, ensuring clarity of key messages and strategic alignment
  • Follow up with line managers on action items and deliverables to ensure timely execution and achieve 90%+ completion of planned initiatives on schedule.
  • Support the GM in business development, managing initiatives by collecting market insights and opportunities and providing initial evaluations.
  • Act as a central communication and coordination point between the GM, management team, and operational staff to ensure alignment on priorities, decisions, and follow-ups.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
