Ahmed Saif Adam Trading is an automotive service provider in Muscat, specialising in mechanical repairs, custom wheel tuning, and high-volume tire and battery retail [Ghala Sanaya Branch, Al Seeb, Muscat, OmanWheels]. We are seeking a highly motivated, organized, and hands-on Assistant Manager to support our General Manager in driving daily operations, optimising workshop workflow, and delivering outstanding customer service.The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a background in retail or automotive service operations, and the ability to effectively manage both frontline technical staff and consumer relations in a fast-paced environment.
Key Roles & Responsibilities1. Daily Operations & Workshop Coordination
- Optimize workshop workflow to maximize service bay efficiency and reduce customer wait times.
- Coordinate activities between our mechanical repair, custom tuning, and tire service segments [Ghala Sanaya Branch, OmanWheels].
- Oversee the opening and closing procedures of the branch facility, ensuring total operational readiness.
- Ensure strict adherence to municipal health, safety, and workplace cleanliness regulations.
2. Inventory & Supply Chain Management
- Monitor, track, and manage stock levels for fast-moving automotive parts, tires, and car batteries [Ghala Sanaya Branch, Al Seeb, Muscat, OmanWheels].
- Coordinate with local Muscat distributors and vendors to ensure timely parts delivery.
- Minimize stock shrinkage, discrepancies, and material waste through regular physical stock audits.
3. Team Leadership & Supervision
- Supervise, mentor, and motivate a multicultural team of automotive technicians, mechanics, and sales staff.
- Manage employee schedules, shift rotations, attendance, and leave requests.
- Assist in onboarding and providing operational training to new hires or student placement interns.
4. Customer Service & Sales Support
- Greet customers, manage service bookings, and handle walk-in inquiries.
- Resolve customer complaints or technical disputes professionally and efficiently.
- Assist in cross-selling premium products, customized tuning solutions, and maintenance packages to boost daily revenue.
5. Administration & Financial Reporting
- Manage daily cash drawers, process point-of-sale (POS) invoices, and ensure accurate banking compliance.
- Maintain accurate digital records of customer vehicles, diagnostics, and service histories.
- Prepare weekly operational and sales performance reports for upper management review.
Pay: From RO200.000 per month
