Assistant Manager Accounts
Position Overview:
ABM Group seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager Accounts to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. This role involves supporting the Accounts Manager in managing the company’s financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and providing accurate financial information to assist in decision-making processes.
Responsibilities:
· Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
· Assist in the preparation of budget forecasts and variance analysis.
· Perform financial analysis and generate reports for management review.
· Oversee the accounts payable and receivable processes.
· Ensure timely and accurate processing of invoices and payments.
· Reconcile accounts and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
· Maintain and reconcile the general ledger accounts.
· Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
· Ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded and reported.
· Keep up-to-date with changes in accounting regulations and standards.
· Assist in the development and implementation of accounting procedures and systems.
Requirement:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
· Professional certification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) is preferred.
· Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
· Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) is highly desirable.
· Familiarity with financial reporting standards (GAAP, IFRS).
· A strong understanding of accounting guidelines, particularly IFRS-15 and IFRS-16 is strongly preferred, and acquisition accounting is a plus.
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
