The Assistant Manager – Accounting & Advisory will oversee client engagements, manage a team of consultants, and ensure timely, high-quality delivery of accounting, compliance, and advisory services. This role requires strong technical knowledge, leadership skills, and client relationship management.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage client accounting and advisory engagements for multiple industries.
- Supervise and guide a team of accountants and consultants, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Review financial statements, management reports, and ensure compliance with UAE VAT and other regulations.
- Support clients with advisory services, including financial planning, cash flow management, and process improvement.
- Collaborate with the technology team for accounting software implementation (Zoho Books, Zoho Finance Suite, etc.).
- Ensure client satisfaction through timely communication, high-quality deliverables, and proactive problem-solving.
- Assist the Department Manager in planning, team management, and quality control.
- Train and mentor junior staff to build technical and soft skills.
Requirements
- Qualification: CA
- Experience: 5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounting & Advisory
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, UAE VAT, and compliance requirements.
- Experience in client management and team leadership.
- Proficiency in accounting software (Zoho preferred) and MS Office.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
