- Key Roles & Responsibilities:
- · Operations Management
- Conduct randomized daily audits of plant operations using Remote Video Auditing (RVA) technology.
- Assess animal handling practices, food safety measures, and employee compliance based on predefined standards.
- Generate audit reports with detailed insights, metrics, and video clips to support findings.
- Identify and document non-compliance issues, recommending corrective actions to improve plant performance.
- Ensure audits align with PAACO (Professional Animal Auditor Certification Organization) standards.
- Provide real-time feedback to plant operators, management teams, and compliance officers.
- Monitor multiple livestock and poultry processing plants remotely, covering various species, including cattle, hogs, and poultry.
- Work closely with third-party auditors and internal stakeholders to uphold transparency and best practices in animal welfare.
- Maintain accuracy and objectivity in audit evaluations to ensure consistent and fair assessments.
- Prior experience in livestock processing, food safety, compliance auditing, or quality control is preferred.
- Strong understanding of animal welfare guidelines and industry regulations.
- Ability to analyze video footage and provide objective, data-driven insights.
- Excellent attention to detail, communication, and report-writing skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, data-driven environment with minimal supervision.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, data management tools, and reporting software.
- · Monitor daily audit operations to ensure timely and accurate completion across all locations.
- · Track real time queue progress, identify bottlenecks, and implement immediate corrective actions to maintain flow.
- · Ensure all audits comply with SLAs, internal KPIs and quality benchmarks.
- · Implement and maintain operational policies and procedures under the guidance of the senior management.
- · Coordinate with cross functional teams to resolve process issues, system challenges, or client related issues.
- · Ensure compliance with company policies, client requirements, and quality standards.
- · Team Leadership & People Management:
- · Supervise auditors across assigned shifts, ensuring full shift coverage during business hours.
- · Prepare and manage shift rosters, contingency planning for unexpected workload.
- · Conduct end of shift reviews and ensure smooth handover between teams.
- · Mentor and guide senior auditors, lead auditors, and new hires for business goals alignment.
- · Support hiring, training, and onboarding of new team members.
- · Capture daily operational data on audits, QA feedback and turnaround times.
- · Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide constructive feedback to drive continuous improvement.
- · Foster a positive and engaging work culture that promotes collaboration, ownership, and high performance.
- · Quality & Compliance
- · Review audits to ensure compliance with quality assurance and company standards.
- · Work with team to address recurring non-compliance or error patterns and implement preventive measures.
- · Promote awareness of organizational policies on safety, security, and ethical behavior.
- · Maintain proper documentation of process updates, quality observations, and corrective measures.
- · Cross-Functional Coordination
- · Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- · Participate in internal meetings and Account management team discussions to represent shift level operations and insights.
- · Handle escalations and ensure timely resolution of client or operational concerns.
- · Contribute to internal audits, reviews, and compliance assessments as required.
- Required Qualifications & Skills:
- · MBA with graduation in Food Technology, Operations Management with overall 7 plus years of experience
- · 5+ years of experience in operations, or quality management with at least 1 to 2 years in a supervisory or team lead capacity.
- · Proficient in MS office.
- · Exposure to analytical dashboards and audit tools will be an advantage.
- · Strong analytical, coordination, and leadership skills.
- · Ability to multitask and perform under pressure in a fast-paced, global environment.
- · Candidates must not be affiliated with or actively involved in any animal welfare organizations.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹800,000.00 - ₹1,400,000.00 per year
