Assistant Manager (Amazon Marketing Services - AMS)
.
Own Amazon growth across Sponsored Ads and retail readiness. Lead strategy, budgets, and operating cadence to profitably scale while shaping experimentation playbooks and cross-functional alignment with ECOM, Marketing, and Ops.
Key Responsibilities
· Own end-to-end AMS strategy (SP/SB/SD and DSP), including audience, budgets, bidding, placements, and seasonal plans.
· Build and manage AMS P&L: set targets, forecast spend, optimize ROAS/TACoS and contribution margins by ASIN/category.
· Drive retail readiness: content, SEO, A+ creatives, reviews, availability, and Buy Box protection in partnership with ECOM and Ops.
· Lead campaign architecture, ASIN segmentation, and incrementality experiments; standardize playbooks and SOPs.
· Institutionalize weekly/monthly governance with dashboards, cohort views, and profitability guardrails.
· Vendor/agency management, contract governance, and performance SLAs where applicable.
· Partner with Finance on budget phasing, promo ROI, and pricing guardrails.
Qualifications
· 6+ years in performance marketing with 3+ years on Amazon Ads/DSP; multi-category scale-up experience.
· Advanced skills in bid/budget automation, retail analytics, and content-performance linkage.
· Strong stakeholder leadership and vendor/agency management.
· Data tools: Amazon Ads console, Brand Analytics, DSP, and BI tools (e.g., Sheets/Excel, Looker/Power BI).
Success Metrics
· Revenue growth and market share by focus categories.
· ROAS/TACoS and contribution margin by ASIN/category.
· New launch velocity (weeks to target), share of voice, and page 1 placements.
· Operational health: in-stock %, Buy Box %, and content quality score.
