Job Description:


We are looking to recruit a Junior Internal Auditor to support the Internal Audit function within the insurance business. This role is ideal for a UAE National graduate or early-career professional who demonstrates strong analytical capability, excellent MS Excel proficiency, and a disciplined, professional approach to work.


The role will provide structured exposure to internal audit fundamentals , risk awareness, documentation, and reporting processes within a regulated insurance environment. Prior audit or insurance experience is not mandatory , as training will be provided to support learning and development in internal audit practices.


What you will do:


  • Support the Internal Audit team in the execution of audit assignments across business and support functions.
  • Assist in data collection, testing, documentation, and preparation of audit working papers using advanced MS Excel .
  • Review, organize, and analyse data to identify trends, exceptions, or control gaps.
  • Prepare clear and well-structured audit documentation and reports using MS Word .
  • Support follow-up activities on audit observations and action plans.
  • Adhere to internal policies, confidentiality requirements, and professional standards at all times.
  • Demonstrate willingness to learn internal audit concepts, risk management basics, and compliance requirements relevant to the insurance sector.


Qualifications

  • UAE National with valid Family Book (mandatory).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, or a related discipline .
  • Prior audit or insurance industry experience is not required .


Required Skills to be successful:


Technical Skills

  • Strong MS Excel skills (absolutely essential) – data analysis, reconciliation, structured reporting.
  • Good working knowledge of MS Word for professional documentation and reporting.
  • Good English writing skills , with the ability to present information clearly and accurately.

  • High level of professionalism, discipline, and attention to detail .
  • Strong sense of responsibility and confidentiality.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt within a structured audit and governance environment.
