Job Description
1. Stock Control & Inventory Management

Maintain accurate records of all vehicles stored in the yard.

Monitor and control vehicle stock using Excel and yard management data systems.

Conduct regular physical stock checks and reconciliation with system records.
-
Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports for management.
2. Yard Utilization & Space Management
-
Plan and optimize yard layout to maximize space utilization.
-
Monitor yard capacity and ensure efficient vehicle parking arrangements.
-
Coordinate vehicle movements within the yard to avoid congestion and delays.
3. Inbound & Outbound Operations
-
Supervise vehicle receiving (inbound) and dispatch (outbound) activities.
-
Ensure proper documentation and recording of all vehicle movements.
-
Coordinate with transporters for smooth entry and exit of vehicles.
-
Monitor loading and unloading operations to ensure safety and efficiency.
4. Vehicle Delivery Planning

Prepare and coordinate daily vehicle delivery plans.
-
Ensure vehicles are prepared and available for dispatch on time.
-
Work closely with transportation vendors to schedule and track deliveries.
5. Yard Maintenance & Safety
-
Ensure the yard is maintained in a clean, safe, and organized condition.
-
Monitor yard infrastructure, lighting, signage, and parking arrangements.
-
Implement safety procedures for vehicle movement and storage.
-
Coordinate with maintenance teams for any required repairs or improvements.
6. Data Management & Reporting
-
Maintain operational records using advanced Excel spreadsheets and data management systems.
-
Analyze yard data to improve operational efficiency and reporting accuracy.
-
Generate operational reports related to stock, utilization, inbound/outbound, and deliveries.
7. Vendor & Client Communication
-
Maintain professional communication with transportation vendors and clients.
-
Coordinate with logistics partners for vehicle movement and delivery scheduling.
-
Address operational inquiries and ensure high service levels for clients.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or related field (preferred).
-
Minimum 3–5 years of experience in automotive yard operations, vehicle logistics, or storage management.
-
Experience in vehicle stock control and yard management systems.
Skills & Competencies

Strong Excel and data management skills (advanced spreadsheets, reporting).
