We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager for our casual family restaurant to lead our restaurant team to success! Responsibilities

  • Assist the management team in overseeing all restaurant operations, including food preparation, service delivery, and staff coordination.
  • Supervise and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety.
  • Manage shift schedules, assign duties, and ensure smooth workflow during busy hours to maximize efficiency.
  • Oversee inventory control processes, including ordering supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems; ensure proper cash handling procedures are followed.
  • Support staff training and development initiatives to enhance skills in food handling, cooking techniques, and customer service excellence.
  • Enforce compliance with health and safety regulations related to food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
  • Participate in interviewing potential candidates to build a strong team aligned with the restaurant’s service standards.
  • Maintain a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, hospitality management best practices, and continuous improvement.
  • Enforcing company policies and procedures as well as following all policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments.
  • Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required.
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in staff training & development, supervising teams, and managing shifts effectively.
  • Excellent customer service skills with a passion for hospitality management and ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Ability to handle multiple responsibilities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail under pressure.
  • Previous assistant manager experience preferred; hospitality or hotel experience is advantageous.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to interview candidates confidently and foster a collaborative team environment. Pay: From $31,000.00 per year
