Overview:
We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Assistant Manager for Credit Control & Sales to support our petshop outlets across the UAE. This role combines credit control responsibilities (collections and recovery) with sales support duties. The ideal candidate will manage receivables, support sales initiatives, and ensure timely reporting, while traveling as needed with their own vehicle. A strong candidate will be punctual, flexible, a problem-solver, and capable of multi-tasking in a dynamic retail environment.
Key Responsibilities:-
Credit Control & Collections:
- Monitor accounts receivable and drive timely collections from customers.
- Manage collection activities, escalate delinquencies, and coordinate with customers to maximize recoveries.
- Reconcile customer accounts, resolve disputes, and minimize bad debt.
- Prepare and present aging reports, cash flow projections, and recovery status to management.
- Implement credit policies and maintain compliance with company procedures and UAE regulations.
Sales Support:
- Assist sales teams with order processing, documentation, and customer communications.
- Support client onboarding, credit checks, and payment term setup.
- Provide timely responses to emails and inquiries; prepare reports for management review.
Administration & Reporting:
- Maintain accurate data in CRM and MS Office-based reports; generate periodic performance dashboards.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports on collections, sales support activities, and account status.
- Coordinate with logistics, finance, and sales teams to ensure smooth cash collection and order fulfillment.
Travel & Customer Engagement:
- Travel to petshop outlets across the UAE as required to meet with customers, collect payments, and support sales activities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to improve collections performance and sales collaboration.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree (required)
- Experience: Minimum 4–5 years of collections and recovery experience in UAE markets. Prior exposure to sales support and working with retail/petshop channels is a plus.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of CRM systems and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) for reporting and communications.
- Can work under pressure with deadlines. Able to work independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proven problem-solving ability, goal orientation, and a hands-on, hard-working attitude.
- Ability to multi-task, manage priorities, and meet deadlines.
- Self-motivated with a proactive approach to collections and sales support.
- Licenses & Mobility: Valid UAE driving license with own car (required) to travel for business purposes.
