Assistant Manager - Customer Service

This candidate will lead, train and develop a team in handling customer hardware request. Work closely with the department manager to ensure processes and work instructions are maintained to ensure productive and high-quality work. Understand and apply Hafele Handbook equitably within the team ,working closely with Human Resource and Department Manager.

The Customer Service role at a glance:

  • Receives and answers customer inquiries and requests regarding products, prices, shipment tracing, catalog request from fax or email.
  • Uses computer and administrative knowledge to provide information to customers.
  • Receives and directs inquiries from other departments regarding inside sales responsibilities.
  • Provides office support as required.
  • Remains current on changes in policies and procedures.
  • Performs other clerical duties and projects assigned.
  • Acquire skills to operate Häfele’s computer system
  • Ability to use MS Outlook

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university preferred; or one to two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read, analyze, and interpret office procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to request from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, commissions, proportions, percentages. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra.

REASONING ABILITY

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Preferred
