Assistant Manager - Design & Development

• Design and specify mechanical components and systems.
• Develop, prototype, and test mechanical designs to ensure functionality and performance.
• Collaborate with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to validate and improve designs.
• Lead and manage mechanical design projects independently, ensuring timely completion.
• Ensure all designs comply with relevant safety, quality, and industry standards.
• Identify and resolve design and manufacturing issues during the development process.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including electrical, software, and QA engineers, to ensure design integration.
• Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Should have 2+ years of relevant experience.
• Balance design requirements with cost efficiency, manufacturing feasibility, and production timelines.
• Prepare and maintain detailed design documentation, specifications, and manufacturing instructions.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software such as SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or equivalent tools.
• Strong understanding of materials selection and mechanical manufacturing processes.
• Knowledge of Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles and production constraints.
• Familiarity with project management methodologies and tools for effective execution.
• Awareness of industry standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements in mechanical design.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to address design challenges.
• Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to explain complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Demonstrated creativity and innovation in mechanical design solutions.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with new technologies and best practices in mechanical design.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹400,000.00 - ₹550,000.00 per year
