Assistant Manager – Dispatch

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute daily dispatch schedules as per sales orders and production targets.
  • Supervise loading/unloading activities and ensure safe handling of finished goods.
  • Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Sales, and Transporters for timely dispatches.
  • Maintain daily dispatch reports, stock registers, and GRN/GDN documentation.
  • Ensure FIFO/FEFO compliance and minimize breakage/damage during handling.
  • Monitor vehicle turnaround time and optimize logistics costs.
  • Implement and monitor 5S, safety, and housekeeping standards in the dispatch area.
  • Lead and train a team of dispatch officers, forklift operators, and loaders.
  • .Assist in monthly stock taking and reconciliation of finished goods.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Education: 16 years education – Bachelor’s/Master’s in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or Commerce.
  • Experience: 3-5 years of relevant experience in Dispatch / Warehouse / Logistics, preferably in FMCG, Glass, Ceramics, or Manufacturing sector.
