About the Team: The purpose of the Distribution Center team is to meet the immediate and future needs of customers by processing orders quickly and accurately for a timely delivery. The Distribution Center team seeks to support the mission of BJU Press by providing superior services and gaining/retaining customer trust and satisfaction.
Role Summary: As an Assistant Manager at BJU Press, the ideal candidate will play a supporting role on the Distribution Center team by assisting the Sr. Manager in overseeing all distribution functions, including order processing, picking, packing, shipping, and receiving. These functions are stream-lined through multiple supervisors and department leads that report directly to the Sr. Manager and will be the responsibility of the Assistant Manager in the absence of the Sr. Manager, including during shiftwork hours when the Sr. Manager is not present. Also, as an Assistant Manager at BJU Press, the ideal candidate will play a supporting role on the Management team by aligning with the Vision and mission of BJU Press.
