Assistant Manager / Estimator – Heavy Equipment & Machinery Repair Workshop

We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager / Estimator to join our Heavy Equipment and Machinery Repair Workshop. The ideal candidate should have strong technical knowledge, excellent workshop management skills, and the ability to prepare accurate estimates and close repair jobs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and control day-to-day workshop operations
• Inspect heavy equipment and machinery and prepare accurate repair estimates
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and quality repairs
• Negotiate with customers and close repair deals
• Monitor job progress, costs, and timelines
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and company standards
• Maintain proper documentation, estimates, and job records
• Support the Workshop Manager in operational and administrative tasks

Requirements:

• Minimum 5 years of experience in a heavy equipment or machinery repair workshop
• Proven experience as an Estimator / Assistant Manager or similar role
• Strong knowledge of heavy equipment and machinery repair processes
• Ability to independently manage and control workshop operations
• Strong negotiation and customer-handling skills
• Ability to prepare clear and accurate repair estimates
• Good communication and leadership skills

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working with ERP or workshop management systems
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Team management and coordination skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: AED5,000.00 - AED8,000.00 per month

Work Location: In person
