Assistant Manager - Exim

Purpose of Role

Responsible for overseeing and managing the Imports and DGFT. To manage end-to-end import operations, customs clearance, documentation, license utilization, vendor coordination, and compliance with all relevant EXIM and customs regulations to ensure timely delivery and regulatory adherence.

Key Accountabilities / Responsibilities

• In depth knowledge of Customs procedures for Imports- Bill of Entry filing (all types of B.E), customs assessment, examinations procedures, delivery process etc. Should be able to handle independently.
• In depth Knowledge of Imports customs clearance and import documentation formalities, License utilization. Advance License registration at customs, use of licenses for imports under EXIM Schemes.
• Timely Clearance of Import shipments from port- Looking into day-to-day activity of import shipment including checking and filing of correct Bill of entry, Timely payment of custom duty , any query from custom, approvals of shipping line invoice CFS Invoice, till the material reaches to W/H/ Plant. No miss-declaration with DGFT and Customs. Overall responsibility of import compliance since starting to end.
• ERP / SAP & IVL Entries from NN documents to GRN. It should be well versed to make DSR in Excel and control the import clearance process.
• Timely ensuring processing Bills of CHA, Transporter, CE, CA and other consultants and payment of same. Monthly reconciliation and No dues from vendors.
