The Opportunity:

We are seeking an ambitious and technically proficient Assistant Manager to join our dynamic External Audit team. This role is ideal for a professional ready to take the next step in their career, managing a diverse portfolio of clients and leading engagement teams from planning through to completion. You will ensure financial clarity and compliance with international standards, providing valuable insights to clients and stakeholders. Key Responsibilities As an Assistant Manager in External Audit, you will:

• Engagement Management: Lead and manage multiple external audit engagements, overseeing all phases from planning and risk assessment to fieldwork supervision and final reporting.
• Quality & Compliance: Ensure all audit work is performed profitably and timely, adhering strictly to International Standards on Auditing (ISA), IFRS, and local UAE regulatory frameworks.
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as a key point of contact for clients, building strong, trust-based relationships and effectively communicating complex audit issues and recommendations to management and audit committees.
• Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and mentor junior auditors and associates, providing regular feedback and coaching to support their professional development.
• Technical Excellence: Apply strong technical knowledge to resolve complex accounting and auditing issues and review workpapers for accuracy and completeness.
• Business Development: Proactively assist senior managers and partners in identifying new business opportunities and contributing to the firm's growth initiatives.

Qualifications & Experience

We are looking for a professional who meets the following criteria:

• Experience (Mandatory): A minimum of 3 years of progressive external audit experience in the UAE is required.
• International Exposure (Preferred): Prior experience in external audit gained outside the UAE (e.g., within an international firm) is highly advantageous.
• Education & Certifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance is essential. A completed professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CA, or equivalent is strongly preferred.
• Language Skills: Proficiency in English (oral and written) is essential. Bilingual proficiency in Arabic is highly preferred but not mandatory for this role.

Skills & Competencies

• Thorough knowledge of IFRS and ISAs is mandatory.
• Strong project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and prioritize competing deadlines effectively.
• Proficiency in audit software (e.g., CaseWare) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• High professional integrity, independence, and commitment to quality and compliance.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED12,000.00 per month
