Job Description:
The Assistant Manager Finance will manage, oversee & execute financial operations including bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, internal management reporting, statutory compliance, tax planning & compliance, budgeting & forecasting and banking issues. The position will play a key role in maintaining financial integrity and supporting management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise day-to-day accounting operations and bookkeeping.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statement.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Manage internal reporting and performance analysis.
- Ensure timely, efficient and accurate tax planning and compliance.
- Smooth, efficient & timely completion of external annual & other audits.
- Oversee reconciliation of bank accounts, inventories, vendors, ledgers and others.
- Implement internal financial & other controls and continuous process improvements.
- Liaise with internal audit department & resolve all their queries and ensure adequate support to internal audit department
- Efficient budgeting & forecasting with timely variance analysis.
- Effective handing of bank finance & other banking issues.
Qualifications & Skills:
- A qualified/part-qualified ACA, or CMA.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in finance and accounting, preferably in trading or retail sector.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, taxation, and financial reporting standards. Proven ability of effective budgeting & planning. Effective experience of bank financing & import/export related issues.
- Advanced proficiency in ERP financial modules, MS Excel and Power BI.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills. Proven ability to lead from the front.
