Assistant Manager - Fine Dining Restaurant

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a polished and motivated Assistant Manager to join our leadership team. Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily front-of-house operations in a high-volume, fine-dining environment. You will act as the Manager on Duty, leading by example to ensure every guest experience is memorable.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Service Leadership: Oversee FOH operations two nights a week, ensuring staff execute steps of service that reflect our high standards.

· Team Development: Assist in training and coaching staff on fine dining steps of service etiquette, menu knowledge, and beverage pairings.

· Guest Relations: Cultivate relationships with guests, build loyalty, and resolve concerns promptly and professionally.

· Operational Excellence: Manage floor flow, hosting, and oversee opening and closing procedures.

· Health and Safety Accountability: Lead and adherence to health and safety regulations.

· Operations: Supporting the Restaurant Manager with inventory, general organization of the bar and the restaurant

QUALIFICATIONS

· 3+ years of progressive restaurant management experience, preferably in fast paced fine-dining or an upscale steakhouse.

· Strong leadership presence and a genuine passion for hospitality.

· Expertise with Toast POS and Resy

· Familiarity with inventory control, food safety standards, and food handling procedures.

· Comprehensive knowledge of food, wine, and classic steakhouse service.

· Ability to remain organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and all holidays except Christmas Day

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

· Base Salary: $55,000 per year

· 40-45 hour, 4-5 day week
