Assistant Manager - Front of House Restaurant

Overview

We are seeking a driven and energetic Assistant Manager – Front of House to join our hospitality team. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional guest experiences by leading front-of-house operations, supporting staff development, and ensuring smooth, efficient service. Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and motivate front-of-house team members to deliver outstanding customer service
• Oversee daily shift operations, ensuring efficient service flow and adherence to brand standards
• Manage POS systems (Toast) for accurate order entry, cash handling, and reporting
• Ensure seamless coordination between front-of-house and back-of-house teams
• Train and develop staff on service standards, food safety, and operational procedures
• Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering, and help control costs and waste
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance with all health and safety regulations
• Support hiring, onboarding, scheduling, and performance management of team members
• Address guest concerns promptly and professionally to ensure a positive dining experience

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in restaurant or hospitality management (FOH preferred)
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Experience with POS systems such as Toast
• Knowledge of food safety standards, inventory control, and restaurant operations
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
• Flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays
