Assistant Manager – General Insurance (Corporate Sales)

India

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager to join our General Insurance team in Mumbai. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in corporate insurance sales, client servicing, and policy management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaison with corporate clients for insurance requirements and renewals
  • Handle client relationship management to ensure long-term business association
  • Coordinate claims with insurance companies and clients for smooth settlement
  • Manage policy servicing including issuance, endorsements, and renewals
  • Identify opportunities for business development and marketing
  • Ensure timely resolution of client queries and service issues

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of General Insurance products (Corporate & Retail)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Good understanding of insurance operations and claims process
  • Proficient in MS Office & basic reporting

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidates with Licentiate or Associate (Insurance Institute of India) certification will be preferred

Experience: Minimum 5 years in General Insurance – Sales & Marketing, Corporate & Commercial Sales

Salary: As per Industry Standards

Working Days: 6 Days a Week

Travel: Local travel may be required

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
