Assistant Manager - HR & Admin

India

Human Resource Responsibilities

  • Recruitment & Onboarding
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for site and office staff (engineers, technicians, admin staff, etc.).
  • Coordinate interviews, offers, and joining formalities.
  • Ensure collection of employee documents (Aadhar, PAN, bank details, qualifications).
  • Conduct induction and orientation for new joiners.
  • Employee Records & Compliance
  • Maintain employee database (attendance, leaves, payroll inputs).
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws, PF, ESIC, gratuity, bonus, and other statutory requirements.
  • Maintain site-wise manpower records and deployment reports.
  • Attendance & Leave Management
  • Monitor attendance software/punch records for both office and sites.
  • Ensure discipline in attendance, leave approvals, and timely reporting.
  • Circulate monthly attendance reports for payroll processing.
  • Employee Engagement & Welfare
  • Handle employee queries, grievances, and resolve workplace issues.
  • Ensure timely distribution of PPE, uniforms, and safety gear at sites.
  • Organize training sessions for safety, compliance, and soft skills.
  • Performance & Appraisals
  • Coordinate performance reviews and probation confirmations.
  • Assist management in evaluating employee performance, promotions, or terminations.

Administrative Responsibilities

  • Office & Site Administration
  • Ensure smooth functioning of office operations – stationery, equipment, housekeeping, and communication.
  • Coordinate with site teams for accommodation, travel, medical needs, and logistics.
  • Maintain site office discipline and cleanliness standards.
  • Policies & Documentation
  • Draft and implement HR policies, circulars, and standard operating procedures.
  • Maintain and update employee handbooks, HR manuals, and compliance registers.
  • Coordination & Reporting
  • Conduct virtual/physical meetings with site teams for progress updates.
  • Prepare manpower MIS, HR reports, and submit to management.
  • Act as a bridge between management and employees at sites.
  • Vendor & Asset Management
  • Manage office assets (computers, printers, phones, furniture, etc.).
  • Liaise with vendors for travel, accommodation, and office services.
  • Event & Compliance Management
  • Manage festive holidays, office/site celebrations, and team-building events.
  • Ensure compliance with audit requirements and support ISO/certification processes if applicable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
