Job Summary:

An Assistant Manager, HR in a hotel industry manages day-to-day HR operations, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll, and training, while ensuring compliance with labor laws and hotel policies. Key responsibilities involve supporting the HR Manager with strategic planning, managing employee onboarding and offboarding, maintaining HR records, and resolving staff issues to foster a productive and positive work environment.
- Recruitment and talent acquisition:
- Develop and implement annual recruitment strategies to fill open positions.
- Post job advertisements and source qualified candidates through various channels.
- Conduct initial interviews and coordinate with hiring managers for final selections.
- Build and maintain relationships with recruitment networks, including educational institutions.
- Employee relations and engagement:
- Support the HR Manager in managing employee relations, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions.
- Address staff and management queries and promote a cooperative work climate to boost morale and productivity.
- Assist with organizing staff social events and activities.
- Compensation, payroll, and benefits:
- Help manage payroll and process compensation information.
- Assist in managing employee benefits and ensuring compliance with enrollment and administration policies.
- Compile and update payroll and absence data.
- Training and development:
- Support the execution of staff training and development initiatives.
- Help ensure appraisals are conducted and follow up on development needs.
- Compliance and administration:
- Maintain and update employee records and HR databases.
- Ensure compliance with labor laws, hotel policies, and administrative procedures.
- Handle administrative tasks such as processing background checks and I-9 forms.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Up to ₹42,000.00 per month
