Assistant Manager HSE
Our client, a well-established and growing food & beverage company, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager – HSE for its Karachi plant.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s degree (BSc) in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or Energy Management.
Certifications:
- IOSH; OSHA (30-Hour and 48-Hour – Manager Level); NEBOSH; Certified Safety Manager;
- Fire & Safety Certification; EOSH Level 4.
Experience:
- 5–10 years of relevant experience, preferably within an FMCG environment.

Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with local and international regulations, promoting a safe and healthy work environment.
- Conducting regular safety audits and inspections to identify potential hazards, ensuring corrective actions are taken to mitigate risks.
- Managing training programmes to educate employees on safety protocols, emergency response plans, and environmental regulations.
- Monitoring and reporting on HSE performance, analysing statistics, and ensuring continuous improvement in safety practices across the organisation.
- Collaborating with management to create a safety culture, providing guidance on HSE-related matters, and ensuring all staff adhere to established safety practices.
- Investigating accidents or incidents, determining root causes, and recommending preventive measures to avoid recurrence.
- Ensuring compliance with environmental laws and regulations, managing waste disposal, and promoting sustainability initiatives.
- Leadership and Team Collaboration: Leading and motivating the HSE team, providing training and development, and ensuring all team members adhere to safety protocols.
