We are seeking a highly capable HSSE professional to act as a strategic partner to the HSSE Manager, driving the planning, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSSE frameworks across operations in the UAE. This role requires strong regulatory knowledge, leadership capability, and hands-on experience in industrial or factory environments.

Responsibilities


  • Partner with the HSSE Manager to implement and monitor HSSE policies, procedures, and corporate initiatives aligned with UAE regulations and international standards.
  • Lead and manage the HSSE team, including workforce planning, roster management, performance reviews, and risk escalation.
  • Ensure full compliance with UAE regulatory requirements (MOHRE, Civil Defence, Environmental authorities) and international standards such as ISO 14001 and ISO 45001.
  • Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments; ensure timely closure of non-conformances and corrective actions.
  • Develop and implement HSE plans, HIRA, JHA, and proactive hazard identification programs.
  • Manage HSSE systems including risk registers, MSDS, safety metrics (ASR/AFR), and reporting dashboards.
  • Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implementation of preventive measures.
  • Deliver HSSE reports, analytics, and insights to senior management.
  • Drive safety campaigns, environmental initiatives, and foster a strong safety culture.
  • Conduct trainings including inductions, toolbox talks, emergency drills, and behavioral safety programs.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, contractors, and clients on all HSSE matters.
  • Ensure emergency preparedness, first aid readiness, and compliance across all facilities.
  • Stay updated on UAE HSSE laws and advise management on regulatory changes.


Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field (Master’s preferred)
  • Certified in NEBOSH / OSHA / ISO 45001 or equivalent
  • 4–7 years of HSSE experience in UAE, preferably in industrial or manufacturing environments
  • Strong knowledge of UAE regulations (DM, DCD), Fire & Life Safety Code, and NFPA standards
  • Proven experience in audits, risk assessments, and compliance management
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills
  • Advanced reporting and analytical skills with proficiency in MS Office tools
