About the Role
We are seeking a proactive, people-oriented, and driven Assistant Manager HR to lead key human resource functions and contribute to building a high-performance workplace culture. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in talent acquisition, employee engagement, training & development, HR projects, and policy implementation.
Key Responsibilities
Talent Acquisition
- Manage end-to-end recruitment, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
- Develop and execute effective recruitment strategies to attract top talent.
- Partner with department heads to understand workforce requirements and hiring plans.
- Maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
- Ensure a smooth and positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
- Supervise internship programs and support early talent development initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with recruitment policies and best practices.
Training & Development
- Identify training needs through performance evaluations and employee feedback.
- Design, coordinate, and facilitate training programs, workshops, and learning initiatives.
- Develop annual training plans, budgets, and effectiveness measurement frameworks.
- Coordinate with external trainers and learning partners to deliver quality development programs.
- Monitor training outcomes and recommend continuous improvements.
Employee Engagement
- Drive employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
- Conduct employee satisfaction surveys and implement action plans based on feedback.
- Organize team-building activities, recognition programs, and wellness initiatives.
- Address employee concerns and support a healthy employee relations environment.
- Promote diversity, equity, and inclusion across the organization.
CSR & Employer Branding
- Plan and execute Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives and community engagement activities.
- Build partnerships with educational institutions, NGOs, and external stakeholders.
- Manage internship and Management Trainee Officer (MTO) programs.
- Encourage employee participation in CSR initiatives and social impact projects.
HR Projects & Policy Management
- Lead and support HR projects aimed at improving employee experience and organizational effectiveness.
- Review, develop, and update HR policies and procedures in line with business needs and legal requirements.
- Ensure effective communication and implementation of HR policies across the organization.
- Provide guidance to employees and managers on HR policies and best practices.
- Support the development and enhancement of HR systems, processes, and reporting tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 4–5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in a generalist or HR business partner role.
- Strong recruitment and talent acquisition expertise.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proactive, positive, and solution-oriented mindset.
- Self-driven, confident, and able to work independently.
- Strong organizational and project management abilities.
