Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic Assistant Manager to help manage our family owned Ice Cream Shop/Cafe. In this pivotal role, you will oversee daily operations, ensure exceptional customer service, and maintain high standards of food quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Assist in managing day-to-day restaurant operations.
- Prepping, organizing, sanitizing, workstation
- Take customer orders, scoop and craft ice cream, shakes and coffee while maintaining portion control,
- Uphold quality standards and consistency
- Assist in inventory control, including ordering supplies, managing stock levels, and minimizing waste
- Operate POS system (Square System) for accurate order processing and cash handling
- Assist in training new staff members on food safety, customer service, and operational procedures to foster a skilled team
- Supervise food production, kitchen management, and ensure compliance with health regulations
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance guest satisfaction

Prerequisites/Skills
- Barista experience
- Hardworking
- Friendly, kind, positive attitude, energetic and eager to learn
- Confidence in managing staff members in a respectful and professional manner
- Strong tech and creative skills (ie managing business social media account and making flyers)
Spring/Summer Schedule:
2pm - 9pm 5 days a week (must work at least 1 weekend day per week)
Fall/Winter Schedule:
Mornings 5 days a week
Pay $18 per hour plus tips
