Job Overview
We are seeking an Assistant Manager in Training to join our team at Home Zone Furniture. This paid internship position offers a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills and gain hands-on experience in store operations, customer service, and team supervision. The ideal candidate will demonstrate enthusiasm for management, possess strong organizational abilities, and have a background in hospitality, janitorial services, or custodial work.

Responsibilities
Assist with daily store operations to ensure smooth functioning and excellent customer experiences. Support supervising staff by overseeing cleaning routines, housekeeping management, and janitorial tasks to maintain a clean and welcoming environment. Participate in training programs focused on management skills, including leadership development and customer service excellence. Help coordinate laundry services and other custodial duties essential for maintaining store standards. Contribute to team supervision by monitoring performance, providing guidance, and fostering a positive work atmosphere. Assist in implementing commercial cleaning procedures aligned with safety and quality standards. Engage with customers professionally to address inquiries and resolve issues promptly.

Qualifications
Previous supervising or leadership experience in hospitality, hotel, or custodial environments is preferred. Strong background in cleaning, janitorial work, or housekeeping management. Experience in managing laundry operations or commercial cleaning services is advantageous. Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members effectively. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail and the ability to multitask efficiently. Effective communication skills suitable for diverse audiences across various locations. A proactive attitude with a desire to learn management principles within a retail or service setting. This position provides valuable training for individuals aspiring to advance into management roles within the retail or hospitality industries. Pay: $20.00 - $27.66 per hour
