Assistant Manager in Training Retail

Overview
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Assistant Retail Sales Manager in Training to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Retail Sales Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and driving sales performance. The ideal candidate is someone who is outgoing and with potential for strong retail management skills, a minimum of 3 years experience in a retail customer service position, and a passion for providing an outstanding shopping experience. Someone with an interest to learn new skills!

Duties

• Learn how to assist in managing store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
• Supervise and learn to train retail staff to ensure our high levels of customer service.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
• Maintain inventory levels through effective inventory management practices.
• Collaborate with the Retail Sales Manager to develop sales strategies and promotional activities.
• Monitor sales performance and assist in achieving store sales goals.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.

Requirements

• A background in assistant clothing retail management
• Strong cash handling skills with a solid understanding of basic math principles.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems and practices.
• Supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team effectively and with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed. (Weekends are mandatory)
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with customers and staff.
• A proactive approach to problem-solving and decision-making in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Energetic & outgoing!
• Ability to multitask and prioritize.
• Detail orientation.
• Pass a UA
• Pass a Background Check/clear criminal history
• Must be 21+

• Pay starts at $14+/hr DOE with eligibility for a raise at the end of the 30 day review and a 2nd raise pending the 60 day review. This job comes with opportunity for advancement.

• We are open Mon -Sat 10 AM to 6:30 PM. (Holiday hours include Sundays 1-5 from Black Friday through Christmas Eve, Tax Free Weekend, and WYPBR weekend). Will these hours be an issue?
