About The Role

The position provides a strategic and holistic view of our distribution and brands businesses and provides the opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment.

The Planner’s responsibilities include but are not limited to managing Import/Export, Demand and Supply Planning for Imported Brands (in-house and partner), including the distribution and inventory management of in-house brands across our Warehouses.

The individual will monitor and maintain set inventory levels to avoid stock-outs and overstocking situations at multiple locations across India.

Coordinate with multiple internal and external stakeholders including Sales, Manufacturing, Supply chain, Procurement, Business Development and Finance to meet delivery expectations of forecasted and actual sales while optimizing inventory levels.

What will the individual do on a day-to-day basis?

  • Stock monitoring and planning of Imported brands across PAN India locations.
  • Analyze sales trends and use statistical tools to create demand forecasts for different product portfolios and markets.
  • Monitor stock movement and maintain defined inventory levels across all the central & regional warehouses and state depots/state warehouses, while coordinating with business heads.
  • Responsible for S&OP for the BIO category.
  • Coordinate and maintain relationships with business partners.
  • Cross-functional SPOC for resolving issues related to stock requirements.
  • Preparation of fund projections and coordinating with finance team for duty payments necessary for making stocks saleable.
  • Manage and circulate inventory and Export/Import related MIS reports.

What are we looking for?

  • BTech./BBA/BMS (or equivalent) and MBA in Supply Chain/Operations.
  • Hands on experience of advanced MS-Excel and statistical tools for demand forecasting.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Mandatory hands-on experience in ERP (SAP, Oracle or others).
  • 4+ years of professional experience in Demand Planning/ PPC / Inventory Planning.
  • Experience of Sales & Operations planning (S&OP) is a plus.
  • Understanding of distribution models / go-to-market routes for alcoholic beverages or FMCG would be an added advantage.
