Assistant Manager IT

We are looking for a proactive and skilled Assistant Manager IT to join our team of our client. In this hands-on leadership role, you will support the IT Manager in ensuring the stability, security, and efficiency of technology infrastructure while leading day-to-day operations and projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a technical expert ready to step into a supervisory position.

Key Responsibilities:

· Assist in managing the IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, hardware, and software systems.

· Lead and mentor a team of IT support staff, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues.

· Oversee IT service desk operations, improving response times and user satisfaction.

· Implement and monitor IT security policies, data backups, and disaster recovery plans.

· Manage IT projects from planning to execution, including system upgrades and new deployments.

· Evaluate new technologies and make recommendations for improvements.

· Ensure IT compliance with relevant regulations and maintain accurate documentation.

· Manage vendor relationships and IT inventory.

Qualifications & Experience:

· Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

· 3-5 years of relevant IT experience, with 1-2 years in a supervisory or team-lead role.

· Strong technical knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, VPN, firewalls), Windows/Linux servers, and cloud services (e.g., AWS, Azure).

· Experience with IT security principles, cybersecurity tools, and best practices.

· Excellent problem-solving, project management, and communication skills.

· Professional certifications (e.g., CCNA, MCSA, ITIL, PMP) are a plus.
