Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Assistant Manager – IT to join our US Backoffice team. The ideal candidate will assist with overseeing IT operations, managing system infrastructure, supporting the US team with technical requirements, and ensuring compliance with IT policies and security standards. This role requires strong analytical skills, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with our technical and cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities:
System & Network Administration:
Oversee and support day-to-day IT operations including network monitoring, system updates, troubleshooting, and ensuring optimal performance of IT infrastructure.
IT Support & Helpdesk Management:
Assist in managing technical support activities, addressing user issues, and ensuring timely resolution of hardware, software, and connectivity problems.
Infrastructure Management:
Support the maintenance and enhancement of IT infrastructure, including servers, cloud environments, backup systems, and security tools. Ensure all systems are updated and functioning efficiently.
Security & Compliance:
Monitor and enforce IT security protocols, ensuring that systems, applications, and processes adhere to cybersecurity standards and company policies. Address any security vulnerabilities promptly.
Technical Documentation:
Prepare, update, and maintain IT documentation including system configurations, SOPs, incident logs, and asset inventories.
Project Support:
Assist in planning and implementing IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, and new technology deployments. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth execution.
Vendor & Asset Management:
Support vendor coordination for IT services, procurement of hardware/software, and management of IT assets throughout their lifecycle.
Compliance:
Ensure all IT processes and implementations comply with organizational policies, data protection laws, and industry best practices.
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree or relevant certifications preferred.
Experience:
Proven experience in IT support, system administration, or IT operations, preferably in a back-office or corporate environment.
