Assistant Manager - Los Cuates New Mexican Restaurant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support the Restaurant Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining high standards in food quality and safety. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and a passion for the culinary industry, particularly in a quick-service fast food environment.

This position requires open availability. Minimum 50 hours a week required. Full benefits upon completion of probationary period. You must have an up-to-date Alcohol Serving license and Food Handler Certificate. Must have experience with line cooking. Reliable transportation is a requirement. Being bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and profitability.
• Lead and motivate team members to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Oversee kitchen operations, including food production, preparation, and presentation.
• Maintain compliance with health and safety regulations within the restaurant.
• Address customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly to maintain satisfaction.
• Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager on staff scheduling, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Experience

• Proven work experience as a Restaurant Manager or Restaurant Assistant Manager
• Proven customer service experience as a Assistant Manager
• Extensive food and beverage knowledge, with ability to remember and recall ingredients and dishes to inform customers and wait staff
• Familiarity with restaurant management software, like Aloha
• Strong leadership, motivational and people skills
• Acute financial management skills
