Job Description: Senior Maintenance Engineer / Assistant Maintenance Manager (8–12 Years Experience)Position Overview
The Senior Maintenance Engineer/Assistant Maintenance Manager is responsible for overseeing all maintenance activities, ensuring maximum equipment uptime, and maintaining facility safety and reliability. The role requires deep technical knowledge, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to lead maintenance teams effectively.
Operational Management
- Assist in planning, organizing, and coordinating daily business operations.
- Ensure company policies and procedures are followed.
- Monitor inventory levels and oversee ordering as needed.
- Help analyze sales and performance metrics to support decision-making.
Staff Supervision & Development
- Supervise employees during shifts; assign tasks and monitor performance.
- Train, coach, and mentor new and existing staff.
- Assist with scheduling to ensure proper staffing levels.
- Address employee concerns and assist with conflict resolution.
Customer Service
- Maintain high customer service standards.
- Resolve customer issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
- Support the team in delivering a positive customer experience.
Financial & Administrative Duties
- Assist with budget management and cost control.
- Help prepare reports, including sales, labor, and inventory.
- Support cash handling, banking, and financial accuracy.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure workplace safety guidelines are followed.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Previous supervisory or leadership experience recommended.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications (e.g., MS Office, POS systems).
