Key Responsibilities:
- Payroll Processing: Oversee the end-to-end payroll cycle, including calculating salaries, deductions, and bonuses.
- Compliance: Ensure adherence to all federal, state, and local payroll laws, wage, and hour regulations. Monitor statutory compliance (ESI, PF, labour licenses etc.) in coordination with relevant teams
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records, attendance records and employee data.
- Reporting: Prepare and file payroll-related reports and tax filings for internal and external stakeholders.
- System Management: Implement and optimize payroll software and systems, identifying and resolving any discrepancies.
- Collaboration: Coordinate closely with HR and finance departments on employee data, benefits, and compensation policies.
- Employee Relations: Respond to employee grievances, employee inquiries and resolve payroll-related discrepancies, disciplinary issues and ensure smooth labour relations.
- Connect with site supervisors for attendance approval of employees at site
