Hiring : Assistant Manager - Product Sports Merchandiser

Assisting in developing and implementing product merchandising plans and strategies for Skechers Sports Equipment category.

Supporting the Category Manager in selecting the right products to meet customer demand and align with brand standards.

Monitoring inventory levels, ensuring optimal stock levels, and minimizing overstock or out-of-stock situations.

Analyzing sales data to identify trends, understand customer behavior, and make informed decisions about buying, product placement and promotion.

Helping to create and maintain visually appealing displays and store layouts that enhance the customer experience and drive sales.

Collaborating with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of products and efficient inventory flow.

Assisting in the planning and execution of promotional campaigns and events.

Helping to create and maintain visually appealing displays and store layouts that enhance the customer experience and drive sales.

Preparing reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other key merchandising metrics.

Working closely with other teams, such as marketing, sales, and operations, to align merchandising efforts.

Staying informed about market trends, competitor activities, and emerging merchandising concepts.

Identifying and resolving any issues related to merchandising, buying or production.

Training sales staff and other departments on sports equipment products.
Job Requirement

Experience in the sports equipment business preferred

Experience in retail or e-commerce industry is preferred

Knowledge of merchandising principles and best practices.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
