About the Role

Mother Sparsh is looking for an experienced and proactive Manager / Assistant Manager – Purchase to lead procurement and coordinate production activities for our growing beauty and personal care portfolio. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in sourcing raw materials and packaging for the skincare, baby care, or cosmetic industry and the ability to work closely with production, R&D, and quality teams.

Key Responsibilities

Procurement & Vendor Management

• Manage procurement of raw materials and packaging (bottles, caps, monocartons, etc.)
• Identify and onboard new suppliers while strengthening existing vendor partnerships
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms for cost optimization
• Ensure timely availability of materials for uninterrupted production
• Conduct market research and attend trade fairs/exhibitions across India

Production Coordination

• Work closely with production teams to align material availability with manufacturing schedules
• Optimize production planning to improve efficiency and minimize waste
• Coordinate with logistics and supply chain for smooth inventory management

R&D & Innovation Support

• Collaborate with R&D on sourcing materials for new product development
• Stay updated on emerging trends in cosmetics and skincare

Quality & Compliance

• Ensure all materials meet regulatory and internal quality standards
• Partner with quality teams to resolve issues and implement corrective actions

Budgeting & Cost Control

• Conduct cost analysis, forecasting, and variance reviews
• Manage procurement budgets and control expenses

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with production, QA, supply chain, and leadership teams
• Contribute ideas and process improvements during team discussions

Qualifications & Skills

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Cosmetology, or related field
• Experience: Minimum 3–4 years in procurement within cosmetics, skincare, baby care, or beauty industry
• Strong knowledge of raw materials and packaging procurement
• Experience in supplier negotiation, production planning, and market research
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
• Proficiency in data analysis and reporting
• Knowledge of cosmetic regulatory standards is an added advantage

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to ₹50,000.00 per month
