We are looking for an experienced Assistant Manager – Purchase with strong exposure to procurement in the herbal/pharmaceutical manufacturing domain.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sample procurement of finished herbal extracts, raw herbs, and allied materials
• Vendor management, including identification, evaluation, development, and performance review
• Price negotiation and cost optimization while maintaining quality standards
• Raising purchase orders, follow-ups, and ensuring timely material delivery
• Coordination with QA, R&D, Production, and Stores for material approval and planning
• Ensuring compliance with quality standards, specifications, and required documentation
• Monitoring inventory levels to prevent shortages or overstocking
• Maintaining accurate purchase records, MIS reports, and supplier documentation

Desired Profile:

• 7–8 years of experience in Purchase / Procurement
• Hands-on exposure to herbal extracts, raw herbs, or pharma ingredients preferred
• Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
• Working knowledge of procurement documentation and compliance requirements
