Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and optimal service flow
  • Supervise and train staff on food preparation, customer service standards, and safety protocols
  • Oversee food handling, cooking, and presentation to uphold quality standards
  • Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
  • Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
  • Support budgeting efforts by monitoring labor costs, sales performance, and operational expenses
  • Lead staff training & development initiatives to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction
  • Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to foster positive guest experiences
  • Assist with shift management, including scheduling staff and coordinating restaurant activities

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments
  • Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
  • Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with a background in team management, staff training & development
  • Familiarity with inventory control, food production processes, and kitchen management
  • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Previous experience in fine dining or hotel food service is a plus but not mandatory

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
