Responsibilities
- Assist in managing daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth shift transitions and optimal service flow
- Supervise and train staff on food preparation, customer service standards, and safety protocols
- Oversee food handling, cooking, and presentation to uphold quality standards
- Manage inventory control, including stock levels, ordering supplies, and minimizing waste
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for accurate cash handling and transaction processing
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain high standards of cleanliness and sanitation
- Support budgeting efforts by monitoring labor costs, sales performance, and operational expenses
- Lead staff training & development initiatives to enhance team performance and customer satisfaction
- Handle customer inquiries or complaints promptly to foster positive guest experiences
- Assist with shift management, including scheduling staff and coordinating restaurant activities
Qualifications
- Proven experience in restaurant management or supervisory roles within quick service & fast food restaurants or casual dining establishments
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
- Hands-on experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; cash handling expertise required
- Demonstrated leadership skills with a background in team management, staff training & development
- Familiarity with inventory control, food production processes, and kitchen management
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on hospitality excellence
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience in fine dining or hotel food service is a plus but not mandatory
