We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Floor Manager to oversee daily operations in our casual dining establishment. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of front-of-house staff to ensure smooth operations during service hours.
- Manage team performance through effective training, mentoring, and scheduling.
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and maintain cleanliness standards throughout the establishment.
- Oversee food preparation and presentation to guarantee quality and consistency.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to facilitate timely service during peak hours, including banquets and special events.
- Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly to enhance customer satisfaction.
- Utilize Aloha POS system for order management and reporting.
Experience
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality or food industry, preferably in casual dining settings.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
- Experience in team management, with the ability to motivate and lead staff effectively.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and banquet service is preferred.
- Proficiency in cash handling procedures.
- Excellent communication skills, with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences.
