URGENTLY HIRING!!! Assistant Managers to assist our Restaurant General Managers (RGM) in our KFC restaurant(s). This Franchise consists of 7 locations. Pasco County and Hillsborough County. In this pivotal role, you will oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, efficient management of staff, and seamless service. Your leadership will drive the team to deliver high-quality food and outstanding service. This position offers an exciting opportunity for a motivated professional passionate about food service management and team development to make a significant impact in a fast-paced environment. Performance based bonuses monthly and quarterly.
ASST. MGR Responsibilities include:
- Assist RGM with daily restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service during all shifts while maintaining high standards of food quality, safety, and cleanliness.
- Manage and supervise staff including hiring, training, coaching, and evaluating team members to foster a motivated and professional workforce.
- Oversee food preparation processes, ensuring adherence to recipes, portion control, and food safety regulations.
- Utilize POS systems for order processing, sales tracking, and inventory management.
- Help control inventory levels through accurate stock ordering, storage practices, and waste reduction strategies.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling procedures and reconciliation at shift end, end of day, and start of day.
- Maintain compliance with health codes and safety standards related to food handling and kitchen operations.
- Assist staff with training programs focused on customer service excellence, food safety protocols, and operational procedures.
- Assist the RGM by monitoring cash handling procedures cashier associates.
- Assist RGM in controlling costs, personel hours, customer service, and other areas to improve sales and profitability.
- Foster a positive team environment through effective communication, leadership development, and conflict resolution with RGM and District supervisor.
- Coordinate with vendors for supplies and maintenance of equipment.
Qualifications
- Proven management experience within the food industry, ideally in quick service & fast food restaurants.
- Extensive knowledge of food preparation techniques, kitchen management, and food safety standards.
- Hands-on experience with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
- Demonstrated supervisory skills with a history of training & development of staff members.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction.
Pay: $42,000.00 - $44,000.00 per year
