Hand and Stone Massage and Facial Spa Lake Norman is currently seeking a results-driven, sales and marketing focused Assistant Manager to help drive overall spa performance and growth. This role is designed for individuals who are passionate about client engagement, lead generation, community partnerships, and expanding membership sales while contributing to a high-performing, service-focused team.
Ideal candidates for this role demonstrate the following attributes:
Growth-Focused Leadership – The Assistant Manager will be the right hand for the spa leader. This person will lead front desk operations, coach and develop the sales associate team, and work closely with spa manager and leadership to build a high-energy, client-centric and results-oriented culture that consistently drives membership growth and retention.
Membership Growth, Sales & Client Experience – As part of the spa management team, you will lead by example in converting guests into members. You are confident in identifying client needs, offering tailored solutions, and coaching the team on effective sales techniques, outreach strategies, and relationship-building to maximize conversions and lifetime value.
Marketing, Lead Generation & Partnerships – You will actively drive lead generation initiatives through local marketing efforts, in-spa promotions, digital and grassroots campaigns, and community outreach. This role requires building strategic partnerships, executing collaborations, and identifying new channels to consistently generate qualified leads, increase brand awareness, and drive membership and facial business growth.
Promote Health and Wellness – You are passionate about (or have strong experience in) the benefits of massage and skincare services. You are confident in educating clients on services, enhancements, retail products, and membership options to elevate their overall experience.
Operational & Multi-Tasking Excellence – Demonstrated ability to support administrative functions including (but not limited to) scheduling, inventory management, performance tracking, and sales reporting, or any ad-hoc responsibilities assigned by spa manager while ensuring smooth daily operations.
Results-Driven Mindset – You understand key performance metrics and proactively adapt strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. You are flexible and available to work a variety of business hours, including evenings and weekends, based on business needs.
