Working Hours- 9am to 5:30 pm (Monday to Friday) and 9am to 1pm (Saturday)
Sourcing Operations
- Manage sourcing of fabricated structures, precision-machined parts, sheet-metal components, hydraulics-related fabrication, assemblies, and other engineered parts.
- Ensure procurement aligns with approved drawings, technical specifications, QAP/WPS norms, and cost targets.
- Review PRs, floating RFQs, preparing cost comparisons, negotiating terms, and issuing POs in line with DoA.
Cost Management & Value Engineering
- Analyse cost build-ups for fabrication and machining (material, labour, overheads, consumables).
- Identify opportunities for VA/VE, process improvements, alternate materials, and design-for-manufacture suggestions.
- Drive annual cost-reduction initiatives supported by data, industry benchmarks, and supplier engagements.
Supplier Development & Performance
- Identify, evaluate, and onboard new suppliers for fabrication, machining, surface treatment, and sub-assemblies.
- Conduct supplier capability assessments covering plant infrastructure, manufacturing processes, QC systems, and compliance.
- Improve supplier delivery, quality, and cost performance through structured development plans.
- Support suppliers in process improvements, fixturing ideas, throughput improvement, and quality system enhancements.
Technical & Manufacturing Process Interface
- Interpret manufacturing drawings, GD&T, welding symbols, tolerances, machining operations, and BOM structures.
- Understand fabrication processes: cutting, bending, welding, machining, surface treatment, NDT, painting, and assembly.
- Review process flows, cycle times, routings, and inspection methods used by suppliers.
- Work with internal Engineering, QA, PPC, and Production teams for smooth execution.
Supplier Quality & Compliance
- Work with QA for inspections, NCR closure, deviation approvals, and preventive actions.
- Ensure suppliers adhere to quality plans, welding procedures (WPS/PQR), traceability norms, OHS compliance, and statutory requirements.
- Periodic audits for capability, process adherence, and continual improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering. MBA or relevant postgraduate qualifications would be an advantage.
- Experience: Minimum 10 years of experience in vendor sourcing & development, supply chain management, preferably in the heavy machinery manufacturing / construction equipment industry.
- Proficiency in advance Excel and ERP systems

Pay: ₹1,000,000.00 - ₹1,300,000.00 per year
