The Role
The Assistant Sales Manager is responsible for overseeing the sales team, developing strategic plans to achieve sales targets, managing customer relationships, and ensuring the sales goals of the company are met. This role requires a strong leader who is proactive, results-oriented, and capable of identifying and implementing effective sales strategies.
What You Will Be Doing
Sales Strategy Development:

Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed company targets.

Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to adjust strategies effectively.

Collaborate with marketing, product development, and production planning teams to ensure alignment between sales and business activities.

Identify new business opportunities in assigned markets.
Customer Relationship Management:

Develop and maintain relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and business partners.

Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address customer concerns and issues promptly.

Monitor customer feedback and take proactive actions to improve the customer experience.
Sales Reporting and Analysis

Track and report on sales performance metrics (e.g., sales revenue, conversion rates, customer acquisition).

Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management.

Utilize CRM tools to manage leads, customer interactions, and sales pipelines effectively.
Budget and Forecasting:

Monitor expenses, control costs, and ensure that the sales team operates within budget parameters.

Adjust sales strategies based on performance and financial data.
Training and Development:

Stay up-to-date with industry trends and innovations to maintain a competitive edge.
Collaboration:

Collaborate with other departments (marketing, customer service, operations) to ensure seamless business operations.
